As a bonus incentive, while you help us build our growing data base we are awarding a free romantic candlelight dinner for 2 at the fabulous Cite (soon to be City) French restaurant on top of Chicago's Lake Point Towers on the 70th floor with a breathtaking view of the city. Cite is a favorite dining place of Katerina and Bill. It will be awarded to the male new member who ends up with permanent registration number >>10,000<< as long as a picture was submitted with your profile (even if you choose to keep your picture hidden). He can then take his date to dinner on us!
The way it works is that each new member is automatically and instantly assigned a permanent member number in numeric order. If you win and you are dating more than one person, then your dinner date choice will be yours to decide. The "paid in full" gift certificate will be mailed to the winner.. So celebrate! And if you are not of legal age yet for champagne from the wine list, you may substitute something appropriate and festive from the fantastic menu. The $300 gift certificate has already been purchased and is ready to be sent to the lucky winner. We will post whomever wins, so join the fun.

General Contest Rules:
1. The winner must be at least 18 years old to win.
2. A picture must be posted on your profile at some time before the prize is awarded to be eligible to win, even if you want to keep your picture hidden
3.. To be eligible to win you must be a male new member joining for the first time so you can take the date of your choice to a romantic dinner. If you have become a member in the past, canceled your membership, and then re-joined to receive a new permanent membership number you will not be eligible to win. If we find that you have become a member in the past under multiple user names, or if in our opinion you are a scammer, you will not be eligible to win.
4. The full and final prize will be satisfied by a $300 gift certificate to Citi mailed to the winner, or a $300 dinner to the best restaurant in your hometown.
5. In the event that the member who is registered as #10,000 is disqualified for any reason, the prize will be awarded to the next consecutive numerical new member. ( Example: #10,001-#10,002 etc.) New member numbers are automatically generated and never repeated. Therefore, the prize will be awarded to the first eligible male new member number at or past # 10,000.
6. RussianAmericanLove.com reserves the right to have the final decision as to whom the eligible winner will be.
7. Odds of winning are 1 in 10,000.
8. The winner will be posted on our web site. If you want to e-mail us by clicking the "contact" button we will respond and answer any questions by e-mail. You may also fax our office at 773-268-7397.
9. You must be 21 years old in the State of Illinois to order Champagne or other alcoholic beverages with your free dinner gift certificate.
10. RussianAmericanLove.com reserves the right to substitute a gift certificate to a restaurant of comparable value, in the sole judgment and discretion of the company, in the event that Cite no longer issues certificates or awarding the prize is not possible for some reason. The certificate may be subject to certain conditions, restrictions and time restrictions of Cite, over which we have no control.

12. The winner agrees to send us 3 pictures of himself, his date, and the evening at the restaurant, and allow us to publish those pictures on our site.

WE HAVE A WINNER!!! On Fathers day Sunday, June 17th, 2007 Russian American Love hit profile #10,000. This was a milestone for our site which is only 2 years young and deserves some celebration. The winner of the contest was Terry from Lakewood Colorado, who happens to also be the father of a 8 year old daughter. His profile is #
D010004. He followed the rules and was the first eligible member to win as per contest rules, winning fair and square. Congratulations to Terry! We are still working out the details for his celebration. After talking to him on the phone at length we decided that it would be perfect for him to dine at a nice restaurant in nearby Denver. So we have purchased a gift certificate for him at a wonderful Mediterranean Restaurant called Montecito's, about 20 minutes from his house in downtown Denver.

Profile #10,005 was a scammer deleted for submitting many profiles in the past
Profile #10,006 was a not eligible to win as per contest rules. No picture.
Profile #10,007 was profile I010007 who was Isaac from Sacramento California, the first qualified runner up. If we couldn't have gotten in touch with Terry or if Terry can't attend the dinner for any reason, then Isaac will be the default winner....
Below is the gift certificate which was mailed to Terry on June 26th, 2007. We can't wait to post the pictures of his dinner and see who he asked to join him......
